The Resource Development Unit (RDU) is the fund-raising arm of Muhammadiyah Institutions was formed in 1989, which is the same year Muhammadiyah Welfare Home was established.

It is located at the same premises as Muhammadiyah Welfare Home, at  58 Bedok North St 3 (S) 469624

The staff from the Resource Development Unit plan and implement all fund raising activities for the institutions and is headed by a manager.

All fund raising activities adhere closely to the requirements based on the Institute of Public Character (IPC).
